From March 26th to 27th, the Party Committee of Shandong Heavy Industry Group held a study session on establishing and practicing a correct view of performance. During the session, all participants studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on establishing and practicing a correct view of performance through various methods, including watching special guidance videos, group study sessions, individual self-study, and exchange and discussion. This promoted the continuous deepening and practical application of the study and education. On the afternoon of the 27th, the study session and the 3rd study and discussion meeting of the Party Committee’s theoretical study center group in 2026 were held around the study theme, with members of the Party Committee leadership taking turns to speak.
The meeting emphasized that establishing and practicing a correct view of performance is not only an important political task but also a practical need for the Group’s development. It is necessary to solidify the ideological foundation, closely focus on the general requirements of “serving the Party and the people, making scientific decisions, and working diligently and pragmatically,” deeply understand the important role of a correct view of performance in solving development problems, building synergy for development, and preventing development risks, and effectively transform the learning outcomes into practical actions of fulfilling responsibilities and taking action. We must be self-critical, thoroughly investigate and analyze the root causes of problems, integrate a correct view of performance into the entire chain of enterprise operation and management, vigorously promote a pragmatic and results-oriented work style, and transform strategic plans into tangible operational results with a tenacious spirit. We must improve the guarantee mechanism, tighten and solidify the responsibilities of all levels of government, adhere to differentiated policies and precise efforts, and strengthen targeted guidance based on the development realities and work characteristics of different levels, enterprises, and units to ensure comprehensive, effective, and efficient learning and education across all levels of enterprises.
The trainees, combining their understanding with the group’s realities and their own positions, discussed their insights, identified gaps, and expressed their responsibilities. They unanimously agreed that they must internalize and externalize General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourse on establishing and practicing a correct view of performance, accurately grasping the fundamental questions of “for whom are performances established, what kind of performances are established, and how are performances established?” They pledged to closely focus on the group’s strategic transformation and development tasks, combining learning with application, integrating knowledge with action, and striving for practical results. They committed to integrating the establishment and practice of a correct view of performance into the entire process of carrying out work, promoting implementation, and evaluating results, actively contributing to creating a new landscape of high-quality development during the “15th Five-Year Plan” period and building a technologically advanced, green, and world-class high-end equipment multinational group.
